Who we are

MJ Manzini Holdings (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/429112/07) is the responsible party for the personal information described here. We operate three divisions — software, moving and property — and this notice covers all of them, together with the logistics and property portals we run.

What we collect, and why

• Enquiries. When you submit a form we collect your name, email address, and where you provide them your phone number, company and the property address you are asking about. We use these only to respond to you and to keep a record of the enquiry.
• Moving jobs. Collection and delivery addresses, contact numbers and job details, because a removal cannot be performed without them. Proof-of-delivery photographs are stored privately.
• Property. For tenants and buyers this can include identity, employment and income information and the outcome of a credit or affordability check, because a landlord is entitled to make an informed decision. For landlords it includes banking details so rent and statements can be paid over.
• Saved-search alerts. Your email address and your search criteria. Alerts are double opt-in: we only send them after you confirm through the link we email you.
• Website analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track you across sites. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Where it is kept

Records are stored in our own databases on Cloudflare infrastructure. Sensitive documents — identity documents, signed leases and mandates, driver documents, maintenance photographs taken inside a home — are held in a private store that is not publicly reachable and is served only to authenticated staff. Listing photographs and floor plans are deliberately public, because they exist to be seen.

Street addresses of listed properties are not published. Public listing pages show the suburb and an approximate location only. This is a tenant and owner safety measure, not an oversight.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to do the thing you asked for: with the driver assigned to your job, the agent handling your enquiry, the contractor attending a maintenance call, the attorney handling a transfer, our email provider for notifications, and our payment provider for payments. Each receives the minimum needed for that task.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are being dealt with and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up a conversation you return to. Transaction, lease and financial records are kept for the periods required by South African tax and company law. Alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the link at the bottom of every alert.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we are using it, and withdraw consent where our use is based on consent. Write to info@mjmanziniholdings.co.za and we will respond. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Security

The sites are served over HTTPS with a strict transport policy and a content security policy. Staff access is authenticated, role-restricted and revocable. Sensitive documents are never served from a public URL. No system is perfect; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

Changes

We update this notice when what we do with information changes. The date at the top reflects the current version.
